By nature and training I am a speaker of tongues, a linguist. My natural talent for languages and comprehensive school and university education led me to train and work as a conference interpreter, which I have been doing as a freelance for European institutions since 1985.

Discovering the books of Carlos Castaneda in the 1980's and then of Lynne Andrews in the early 1990's sparked my spirit and I knew I had found an important key to myself and my broader path in life. This was an apparently new aspect of my nature and I found the training I needed to learn and grow as a magician and ceremonialist in the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path beginning my apprenticeship in 1993. Seventeen years later I am still an apprentice, still learning and refining the art of being all that I can be.

In 2000 I began dancing at regular 5 Rhythms classes, mainly for fun and enjoyment as I've always loved music and dancing. A rather surprising insight then prompted me to undertake in-depth study of Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms^® dancing path and then train with her to teach it to others.

Destiny brought me to Somerset in 2003 and fortune dropped a gift in my lap in 2007; to hold the space for 5 Rhythms Dance in Glastonbury. Since August 2009 I have been giving the weekly class there and I adore the chance to offer my brand of dancing magick in this legendary centre of elemental power.
